Christian Suárez is an entrepreneur and project manager with extensive experience in strategic leadership, event organization, and the development of high-impact initiatives across Central America. As a professional in the technology sector and product manager in the outsourcing industry, he has led multiple regional projects, combining operational planning, commercial vision, and efficient execution.
Passionate about cycling and endurance sports, Christian leads GFNY Costa Rica with the goal of positioning Pérez Zeledón as an international destination for road cycling. His vision integrates sport, tourism, and local economic development, creating a platform that connects national and international athletes with the country’s culture and natural beauty.
Under his leadership, GFNY Costa Rica aims to establish itself as one of the most important sporting events in the region, offering an international-level competitive experience with a positive impact on the community.
Katherin Herrera – Strategic Partner
Katherin is an entrepreneur and representative of Kivelix, a strategic partner of GFNY Costa Rica. With experience in commercial management, brand development, and corporate activations, she has been involved in structuring key partnerships that strengthen the event experience and its international projection.
Through Kivelix, Katherin fosters the connection between brands, community, and sport, bringing a vision focused on innovation, strategic positioning, and value creation for sponsors and participants. Her involvement contributes to the sustainable growth of GFNY Costa Rica as both a sporting and business platform in the region.
Edgar Jiménez Risco
Edgar Jiménez Risco – Strategic Partner
A Costa Rican lawyer and sociologist based in the city of Pérez Zeledón, he has extensive experience in sports organization. As a student, he participated in internal tournaments at the University of Costa Rica. He later became a member of the Board of Directors of Municipal de Pérez Zeledón, the club that won its only national championship in the First Division of Costa Rican football in 2017. Since 2021, he has served as Vice President of the Pérez Zeledón Cantonal Sports Committee, promoting national and international sporting events in his city.
He began cycling in mid-2020, when pandemic restrictions in Costa Rica limited the use of vehicles. In cycling, he enjoys the challenge of Gran Fondo races and has competed in multiple events. In 2022, he discovered GFNY and participated in his first event in the United States at GFNY Sebring 2022. He quickly fell in love with the franchise and has since taken part in 11 international GFNY events. This passion ultimately led him to work toward bringing the franchise to his hometown.
